Thanksgiving night, we loaded up two cars with our four girls and a friend for three of them, and we headed out to Palm Desert for our third annual Thanksgiving weekend trip. (None of Maddie's friends were able to go with her this year, which she was really sad about, but she was a trooper nonetheless. The older girls did a great job of including her and loved on her a lot. It was a great time of relaxing, laughing, swimming, eating, playing "Apples to Apples" and of course, going to the park for our traditional volleyball tournament. Tessa brought Adriana Moore, her best, volleyball buddy; Lauren brought Sarah Ornelas, her friend from school who sings like she belongs on Broadway (After Sarah sang for us, Adriana said in her adorable way, "I feel as though I'm a part of history!"); and Kimmie Sanchez, Erica's best friend from kindergarten, and current Biola roommate. Even though we were only planning to be gone for three days, all the girls' bags filled the back of the car up to the ceiling. As we are told, they need "options.
