2008?
where did the year go? it seems to me that every year goes by faster. is it that life gets busier every year, so the time seems to fly by more quickly? is it that my memory is getting worse, so i forget how short the last year seemed? or is it that every year, one year is a smaller percentage of my life as a whole and so it seems shorter? am i alone in this? if anybody out there has some ideas about this phenomenon, please share them with me. i need to feel like i'm not going crazy.

Julie, my dear! Not only do the years get shorter, but the weeks do, too. I have to fill up my little weekly pill thing-a-ma jig every other day, it seems. Then why are the nights so long?! I was awake every hour on the hour a couple of nights ago, and thought the night never would get over. I finally turned off the alarm and let the day start! Oh, my! Love you tons, Mom

The time thingy is every a conundrum. What's with the annual accelerando? And I'm with Mama on the nights being long!!! I'm SO grateful for the sweet Presence of the One Who Slumbers Not Nor Sleeps (Ps. 121)during the long, dark nights. I LOVE YOUR BLOG. And I love you.
